Hello, I’m Jamie.

I’m Jamie Saunders, and curiosity has always been the thread. I got into computers at a very young age, and the internet has fascinated me ever since.

For nearly 20 years I’ve run a digital commerce business, building the complex, connected kind of eCommerce that sits at the heart of a business, stitching together storefronts, back-office systems and data, and guiding brands through digital transformation. Alongside that I’m a Principal Engineer in an innovation lab at a global pharmaceutical company, one of the places defining where health tech goes next, where I build generic tooling that improves productivity and workflows for everyone in the business, shaped by industry-specific demands like compliance, governance, and sensitive medical data.

I love being on the bleeding edge. I read constantly about how people are using technology in novel ways, and the best part is trying it myself: poking at something new, seeing where it falls over, and working out what it’s actually good for.

On madecurio.us I share what I find along the way. I’m still exploring, and I don’t plan to stop.

Currently: all-in on applied AI, which honestly, for a tech junkie, is like manna from heaven.
